Jamarius Burton is a recent graduate (BA) in communications at the University of Pittsburgh.

My passions: mental health, community engagement, diversity, leadership, social justice, networking, broadcasting and basketball.

Mother played basketball at Alabama A&M
Has a younger brother, Amonti, and two older sisters, Kimera and Destani both played collegiately on full scholarships
Uncle, Todd Peat, played six seasons in the NFL for the Cardinals and Raiders
Cousin, Andrus Peat, plays for the New Orleans Saints and was the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft
Cousin, Maya Peat, currently plays DI basketball for University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff
Aunts, Pamela White and Tammy Newton, played college basketball
Grandmother, Shirley Seward, was the city of Champaign (IL)'s first African American female police officer.
